The Casting Clinic

Sunday March 2nd, 2014
  10am to 1pm
 
This clinic is for beginning to advanced casters using  
Single handed and two handed rods.
Bring your rods and reels loaded with floating line.
Rods and reels will be provided if you do not have one.
 
The Elements of fly casting will be covered.
Common Casting Problems will be demonstrated and discussed.
 
Elements of focus in this clinic:
1.      Loading the rod.
          Get slack out of the line.
2.      Shooting line.
3.      The double haul.
          Line speed.
4.      Tailing loops.
 
After the demonstrations you will be practicing your casts.
The instructors will give individual help.
Around 12pm two handed rod techniques will be covered.
 
Directions to the casting clinic:
Drive to Linden Ave. in Carpenteria.
Head toward the beach.
Cross the railroad tracks.
Park your car.
You will see us in the park.

March 2nd huh?   hope that is enough time for Ray's arm to be ready after you twisting it to have another clinic Joseph.  The rest of you....your casting needs some work....make your president  proud Grin,clean up your act Huh, and get some of the best casting advice available on the west coast Wink.      LEW
