Flaming Gorge guide Denny Breer dies
Nov 10th, 2008, 9:04am

Denny Breer, Flaming Gorge fly fishing guide and owner of Trout Creek Flies, in Dutch John, Utah died last thursday in an accident. He was jacking up a building that housed his pigeon coops. The jack slipped and the building collapsed on him. Denny spoke at our club and many club members have used his services in Flaming George. Denny was a well liked guide and highly respected part of the fly fishing community. He took an active part to protect his home waters, the Flaming George and Green River.

"Rivers are a precious commodity, they aren't making any more of them. I want my granddaughter's children and their grandchildren to have the same opportunity to experience the Green River like I have. A lot of people take rivers for granted and we just can't do that"

~ Denny Breer

His funeral will be today (11/10/08)
