The Yampa and the Green

Just moved back from Steamboat Springs Colorado. I have to tell ya if you ever get the chance to FF in the Yampa or the Stagecoach tailwaters, the natives are monsters.  There's nothing like driving 5 miles to the river and within 5 casts you're hooked into a 4 to 6 lb'er.  Also I had the chance to float the Green River for 2 days and had the time of my life. It's worth the trip! Look forward to FF in California.

Welcome back Trout Warden. Sorry to say you'll have to drive a bit farther to  find fishing like that.

You in the Santa Barbara area? Come by the next club meeting on March 7th (details in the Calandar) We will be announcing another outing to the Kern, which is only a 3 hour drive.
