too bad i was hoping to learn some new things about the Ventura / Santa Barbara area fly fishing. Oh well. see ya!!

Don't give up  ;D , Some will post reports from this area from time to time. There are also a lot of non club members that post here.

If your interested in salt water, go visit Eric at the Artful Angler Fly Shop in Carpinteria on Santa Claus Lane. Also, Peter Piconi from San Diego will be doing a presentation at the next meeting, Oct. 11th

The Kern is the closest real trout fishing (about a 3 hr drive) To learn more about the Kern go to the Kern River Fly Fishing Forum; there is also a saltwater board on the forum with a lot of information.
