Title: thanks
Post by 9ft4wt on Jul 8th, 2009, 6:07am

Well, my long awaited trip is just a little over a week away. Just wanted to say thanks to everybody for all the help and answers to my countless questions.

Perhaps, i will run into a a couple of you on the beach someplace and get a chance to say thanks in person.

Going fishing for browns and muskies this weekend. If I get a muskie (which would be a first) i will try to post a pic next week, but the schedule is looking pretty hectic.

Tight lines

We better see you around after all your posts!
Hey our next club meeting is going to be a BBQ/Potluck affair at Goleta Beach on August 11th. Are you going to be around then?      LEW

Lew:

wish I was, but only there for a week. July 18 to 25.

Don't know where we will be fishing but I will have a Mangrove hipshooter and probably wearing a Tilley hat and a long-sleeved shirt with a Project Healing Waters and FFV (Fly Fishers of Virginia)  logos on it. Easy way to tell is that I will look like i don't know what the hell I am doing. We hope to get out early most mornings.

anybody gets back to richmond, you are more than welcome to attend an FFV meeting we meet the 3rd Thursday of every other month. Our next meeting is July 16.

Hope to see you out there but I may be in Redondo around that time.

Be sure and check our tide charts (link in post at top of saltwater section.) It looks like you'll have some good lows with good movement while your here. The lows are real early so you should get out at dawn. It will give you a good opportunity to see the beach structure before it fills in with water.

Have fun  :)
